Super Friendly Beagle Save From Shelter, Looking For One Good Home

They just don't get nicer than Daisy. She is a super friendly 8 yr old beagle. Daisy is about 35 lbs and can stand to loss a pound or two. To meet Daisy, you'd think she never had a care in the world. She has a sunny deposition and a tail wag for everyone she meets. But she surely had a hard time - she clearly had a litter or two in the past and she was left to fend for herself as a stray. Daisy ended up at a kill shelter in rural Virginia where she was on the short list to be put to sleep.

Homeward Trails Animal Rescue is happy that we were able to rescue Daisy - at the end of February Daisy went to live with her wonderful foster Gemma. But to hear Gemma tell it, she was the lucky one because Daisy is one great dog. She loves to be with people, strangers and old friends alike. One of her favorite spots is in Gemma's lap. She gets along well with dogs and cats too.

Daisy has mastered housetraining and is crate trained. She walks well on the leash. Now all she needs is a home to call her own. Beagles like Daisy are great family dogs and Daisy's got years of love to give - beagles typically live 12-17 years.
